2022 PINNACLE AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

MOYNIHAN TRAIN HALL RENOVATION AND RESTORATION.

Miller Druck Specialty Contracting played a central role in this landmark project, fabricating and installing new stone flooring. The scope demanded exceptional attention to detail, from comprehensive shop drawings to the coordination of stone sourcing, cutting, and precise field installation. Every stone panel was carefully planned to ensure alignment, continuity of pattern, and integration with the architectural vision of the hall.

The challenge was not only aesthetic but also technical: the concourse floor had to be engineered to endure the immense daily foot traffic of hundreds of thousands of commuters while maintaining its visual impact. Miller Druck’s team combined traditional craftsmanship with modern installation methods, ensuring the floor reflects the building’s historic Beaux-Arts character while meeting the performance demands of a 21st-century transportation hub.

This project showcases Miller Druck’s reputation for excellence in large-scale stone projects, balancing design, durability, and precision to deliver a civic space that is both timeless and functional.
